When you read this, note that the hate and xenophobia
always come from those who dare to question Islam. They never seem to be able to take responsibility for themselves, or defend the charges being made.
Others make me hate, it's not my fault.
How dare you call the teaching of Islam into question you must xenophobic. You see this pattern repeated everywhere Islam is the dominate force in the region. They have to be kidding, though. You want to see hate and xenophobia. Trying being a Jew or a Christian in Saudi Arabia. Heck just try being a Jew in Israel. Those rockets that are being lobbed over the boarder into the Holy Land aren't love notes or an invitation to dinner.
Dutch Muslim Intellectuals Call on Government to React to Anti Islam Provocation
Five Muslim intellectuals - Farhad Golyardi, Faisal Mirza, Shervin Nekuee, Frank Sadiqqi and Tariq Shadid - have called on Dutch politicians to react to the anti-Islamic provocation of Geert Wilders, head of the far-right Freedom Party (PVV).
"For months now, the Netherlands have lived in apprehension of a 'little film' about the Quran ... And what has the Dutch government been doing? Protecting embassies, asking Muslim countries to be understanding, calming the mood in the Netherlands' Muslim communities, and saying... nothing!
We believe that is high time that a clear political line should be drawn between freedom of expression and incitement to hate ... While across Europe Le Pen, Dewinter, and Haider have prompted reaction, the Netherlands believe they do not need a cordon sanitaire against xenophobic parties ... Such permissiveness in the face of systematic exploitation of xenophobia leaves us with a bitter taste of political cowardice."
