"OIC:UN should adopt resolution banning insult against religion"

oic

They have got to be kidding. First, blasphemy is included in what is fair game for free speech. Second, blasphemy is only blasphemy to those who hold a particular religion to be true. Third, real blasphemy is also only blasphemy when it is against the only true God. You know the one who is described in the Bible. Here is a little free speech, and to some blasphemy, for you.  See update at bottom of this post.

Allah is Satan in disguise, and Mohammad was his prophet, feces be upon him. That is me expressing my free speech rights.Try and inact a law against that.

Here is the story from World Bulletin.

Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, SG of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) recalled on the world countries to adopt at the United Nations a resolution banning insult of religious senses of people.
Monday, 31 March 2008 14:14
The reason for similar reaction of OIC was the release on the Internet of an anti-Islam movie, "Fitna", created by the popular Dutch politician, MP Geert Wilders, leader and founder of the ultra-right Freedom Party (PVV).

The Islamic countries called on the Western states and the United Nations to draw up a legislature to prevent similar incidents in future.

"This incident reaffirms fairness of the call of the Organization of the Islamic Conference on the UN to adopt an obligatory resolution prohibiting such provocations.

Each state should have laws envisioning penalty for acts of the extremist elements calling for force and hate and insulting religious senses", noted OIC Secretary General in the final communique placed in the website of the Organization.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit, in turn, stressed necessity of working out laws envisioning punishment for blasphemy of sacred places and symbols of faith.

"Similar acts are violence of human rights and discrimination for religious and ethnic sign", the Minister emphasized.

Will the OIC condemn this. Note that the dates on some of the cartoons go back to 2006, so the answer is no. Again from the World Bulletin. This is one example read the whole thing.

The Crimes You, In Your Delusions Believe Bush Purpatrated, Saddam Actually Committed. "Saddam-era torture tools in museum of horror"

saddam

Here you go you lefty A#@ Holes you. The real war criminal.

Gruesome instruments of torture and the personal effects of victims killed by henchmen of dictator Saddam Hussein haunt Iraqis five years after the fall of his brutal regime.

The display, currently on show in Baghdad, is due to travel across the country in "tribute to the thousands of martyrs" murdered when Saddam was in power, former political prisoner Amed Naji al-Badawi said.

Mr Badawi is on a committee of Iraqi former political prisoners who set up the exhibition in a makeshift museum of horrors on the banks of the Tigris River, in the Shiite neighbourhood of Kadhimiyah.

Nooses hang from the ceiling, and a wooden coffin-like box containing a medieval-looking torture rack on which prisoners were pinned and stretched takes centre stage.

Pictures of hangings and bodies are plastered all over the walls.

"These are the horrors of the Saddam regime," Mr Badawi said, a stout man in his 50s who spent five years in the jails of Saddam's feared "mukhabarat" secret service because of his alleged support for the Shiite Dawa party.

He was arrested along with 13 members of his family - and seven of his brothers were killed by Saddam's goons.

Over the past five years Mr Badawi's committee has helped to locate 106 mass graves and the remains of 1,050 men, women and children killed by members of the ousted regime.

The display was set up to mark the 17th anniversary of the start of a Shiite uprising in southern Iraq on March 1, 1991, a day after Saddam's regime agreed to a truce with US-led coalition forces after its defeat in the first Gulf war.

The names of dozens of those victims are inscribed on black banners hung in the museum, next to a portrait of Shiite leader Mohammed Sadek al-Sadr who was killed in 1999.

The assassination of the Iraqi Shiite dignitary sparked major riots in Najaf, one of Iraq's holiest cities for Shiite Muslims.

In the middle of the room a single doll wrapped in a white shroud represents children killed during the iron-fisted rule of Saddam. It is surrounded with toys and cheap plastic flowers.

Mothers and widows who have visited the museum have broken down in tears at the sight of this display, Mr Badawi said.

Also on show are cases containing the personal effects of some of Saddam's victims, whose remains or mutilated bodies have been found over the past five years in dozens of mass graves across Iraq.

The artefacts include combs, identity cards, a rosary, a sock caked in soil, a fragment of a pair of spectacles and bloodstained clothes. Arrest warrants signed by Saddam himself are also on view.

Among the most horrific objects retrieved by Mr Badawi and his team from the notorious torture rooms of the mukhabarat, and now included in the museum, is a wooden table covered in a worn strip of leather and with a domestic iron placed at one end.

"This is an electrocution table," he said.

"The naked prisoner was bound to the table with a steel bar strapped to his shoulder to ensure maximum immobility as his torturers electrocuted him or used the iron to inflict burns.

"Electric shocks were delivered via electrodes attached to a plastic syringe, the needle of which was inserted into the urethra of the victim's sexual organ. The pain was atrocious."

Videos of torture sessions are also screened in a basement room. Terrified prisoners can be seen being beaten, having their arms and legs broken and being thrown from rooftops or blown up with explosives.

A Must See. "Fitna"

Update: Terrorist Bring Liveleaks To It's Knees.
But it's still on YouTube. Scroll down to view the video.

Website withdraws Dutch MP's anti-Islam film after threats

Posted 1 hour 11 minutes ago

Internet site Liveleak.com says it has withdrawn anti-Islam film Fitna by far-right Dutch MP Geert Wilders following threats to its staff.

"Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill-informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, Liveleak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers," the UK-based site said in an online statement.

"This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else.

"We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realised LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.

"Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one another's culture.

"We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high."

Mr Wilders said it was "terrible that these threats deal a serious blow to freedom of expression" but told Dutch news agency ANP that he understood the decision to withdraw the short film.

Fitna can still be seen on other websites, including youtube.com.

The Fitna video, which features violent imagery of terror attacks in New York and Madrid intertwined with Koranic texts, was posted on the internet on Thursday.

In an interview with AFP on Friday, Mr Wilders rejected any responsibility for any retaliation against Dutch nationals or interests abroad.

"I hope it doesn't happen but even if it does the people who commit such acts are responsible, not me," he said, pointing to a quiet first night in the Netherlands.

Fearing a repeat of violent clashes that followed the publication in 2005 of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed in Danish newspapers, the Dutch Government has distanced itself from Mr Wilders' film, albeit Islamic leaders there have called for calm.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Friday joined Muslim nations in expressing outrage over the film.

Mr Ban called Mr Wilders' film offensive while Iran and Bangladesh warned it could have grave consequences and Pakistan protested to the Dutch ambassador.

The Americanization of Kulthoom

james garner
I heard a clip from the Movie "The Americanization of Emily". A movie from 1964 staring James Garner and Julie Andrews. In the movie James Garner has a little monologue that is applicable today. Here it is with some edits for me.

You American haters bore me to tears, Ms. Barham Kulthoom. I've dealt with Europeans Muslims all my life. I know all about us parvenus from the States who come over here and race around your old Cathedral towns Sacred Muslim Lands with our cameras and Coca-cola bottles... Brawl in your pubs, paw at your women, and act like we own the world. We over-tip, we talk too loud, we think we can buy anything with a Hershey bar. I've had Germans Iranians and Italians Palestinians tell me how politically ingenuous we are, and perhaps so. But we haven't managed a Hitler bin-Laden or a Mussolini  Mahmoud Ahmadinejad  yet. I've had Frenchmen Imams call me a savage because I only took half an hour for lunch our woman don't wear Burka's. Hell, Ms. Barham Kulthoom, the only reason the French take two hours for lunch Muslim Woman wear Burkas is because the service in their restaurants is lousy, well who wants to take a beating for an Islamic fashion faux pas. The most tedious lot are you British Islamofascists. We crass Americans didn't introduce war into your little island. This war, Ms. Barham  Kulthoom to which we Americans are so insensitive, is the result of 2,000 1300 years of European  Islamofascist greed, barbarism, superstition, and stupidity. Don't blame it on our Coca-cola bottles. Europe The Middle East was a growing brothel cesspool long before we came to town.

There now I feel better. And by the way Kulthoom is a Muslim womens name that means "Daughter of the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him."

Here is the original quote without the edits. Get the movie it's great.

"Politicians and human rights groups want to go on board US-registered planes that are believed to be carrying terror suspects when they land in Norway for refueling."

Sub-Head: Lefties In Norway Want Government To Knuckle Under To Their Anti-American Dog And Pony Show.

Planes believed to be chartered by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) have landed at the Sola Airport outside Stavanger as many as 15 times since 2003, reports local newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad.

It's also believed that the planes, officially owned by Aviation Specialties Inc of the US, have landed for refueling at airports in Bergen and Evenes as well. A report to the European Parliament in 2006 claimed that Aviation Specialties is a subsidiary of the CIA.

The latest landing occurred earlier this month, and it once again set off protests because the flights are believed to be carrying terror suspects captured in the Middle East to prisons and military bases in the US.

Jon Peder Egenæs, secretary general of Amnesty International in Norway, told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) on Wednesday that Norway must get to the bottom of claims of illegal prisoner transport.

Egenæs said the left-center Norwegian government coalition, which likes to think of itself as a champion of human rights, will have a severe credibility problem if it is in fact allowing landings of planes carrying out illegal prisoner transport.

Norway's foreign ministry claims it has been assured by American officials that no prisoners are on board the flights. Human rights activists want to see for themselves, or have trusted Norwegian officials go on board when the next plane lands.

So do some members of one of the government coalition partners themselves. Politicians for the Socialist Left (SV) party, a member of the government, claim the debate has been much too mild on the issue, and suggest that the government and foreign ministry are being naïve.

"We tend to rely too much on close allies, and there's no reason to in this case," said SV's defense spokesman, Bjørn Jacobsen. "Human rights may be being violated, and Norway can't support that."

"Obama advisor: US Jews preventing peace in Palestine"

obama-advisor-Gen_mcpeak
Look mom I am a "Christian Zionist." Stand for Israel People because Obama won't. From the WorldBulletin.

Senator Obama's military advisor has slammed Israel and pro-Israel US Jews harshly for a long time, according to US media.
Wednesday, 26 March 2008 13:15
According to an inquiry by conservative American media outlets, General Merrill McPeak, Senator Barack Obama's military advisor and co-chair of his presidential campaign has slammed Israel harshly for a long time.

McPeak, who served as the chief of staff o the US Air Force before retiring in 1994, made headlines over the past week after accusing former President Bill Clinton of McCarthyism.

Also, over the years he has criticized Israel for failing to withdraw to the 1967 borders and charged American Jews were preventing American pressure that would lead to a Mideast peace agreement.

McPeak also slams Israel and pro-Israel Jews.

"Christian Zionists manipulates foreign policy"

In an interview with The Oregonion about five years ago, McPeak argued that the influence exerted by American Jews is responsible for the lack of progress in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. According to the general the problem was New York and Miami.

"We have a large vote here in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it," he said.

In the same interview, McPeak spoke of his personal experience with Israel.

"I've spent a lot of time in Israel, worked at one time very closely with the Israeli Air Force as a junior officer," he said, "but that's maybe the more cosmopolitan, liberal version of the Israeli population."

McPeak also said that Jews and Christian Zionists manipulated American foreign policy in Iraq.

"Let's say that one of your abiding concerns is the security of Israel as opposed to a purely American self-interest, then it would make sense to build a dozen or so bases in Iraq," he said.

"Dutch group asks court to probe anti-Islam film" Sub-Head: Dutch Try To Find Way To Knuckle Under To The Overlords.

Muslims use the threat of violence to ban a film that dares to criticize Islam. From ABC News. It's called free speech. Like it, love it, live it, or for heavens sake GO HOME. But they don't want that the want the whole world to be their home.

A Muslim association in the Netherlands has asked a court to appoint a panel of experts to view a controversial film about Islam in order to find a reason for it to be banned.

Far-right lawmaker Geert Wilders plans to release a film attacking Islam and the Koran, despite complaints from religious groups and warnings that it could provoke violent protests around the world.

The Netherlands Islamic Federation asked a court in The Hague to set up a panel of censors to review the film, in order to discover if there is any reason for it to be banned.

The Dutch Government, while calling on Wilders to abandon his project, has previously said there is no legal way to censor a film before it appears.

The court will rule on the association's request by March 28. Wilders has said that he will release the film "before April 1", posting it on the Internet if he fails to find a broadcaster willing to carry it.

Wilders said in November that the 15-minute film would show the Koran was a "fascist book", a claim which has already drawn complaints from several Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Iran and Afghanistan.

Dutch officials have unsuccessfully urged him to drop the project, fearing a repeat of the violent protests that erupted in many countries when European newspapers printed cartoons mocking the Prophet Mohammed.

The case has also recalled that of Dutch film-maker and polemicist Theo Van Gogh, who was murdered by an Islamic extremist in Amsterdam in 2004 after he made a short film attacking Islam's treatment of women.

"Al Qaida kills clerics in Algeria who criticized insurgency"

More from the religion of peace in Algeria. From the WorldTribune.com

CAIRO — Al Qaida militants are hunting down clerics in Algeria who cooperate with the government's counter-insurgency campaign.

Algerian sources said the new Al Qaida Organization of the Islamic Maghreb has targeted Muslim clerics critical of the Islamic insurgency network. The sources said Al Qaida operatives have raided mosques and killed their preachers.

On March 16, two Muslim clerics were executed by Al Qaida in a raid during evening prayer. The sources said four Al Qaida gunmen burst into the crowded mosque in Megueren, forced 300 congregants to lie with their faces to the ground. Megueren is a village in the Oued province in southern Algeria.

The sources said Al Qaida has been targeting Muslim clerics believed to have been cooperating with the government's counter-insurgency campaign. Algerian state-financed clerics have been directed to watch their congregants for Al Qaida recruiters.

Al Qaida has been targeting clerics and other civilians amid the Algerian military offensive about 50 kilometers east of Algiers. According to Algerian media reports, 23 Al Qaida fighters were killed over the last few days. In southern Algeria, military and security units captured a huge amount rockets, rifles and ammunition believed meant for Al Qaida.

Following the execution in Megueren, the gunmen searched for their victims. Two Muslim preachers, identified as Mohammed and Abdul Jabar Haroun, ages 35 and 32, respectively, were bound with wire and shot in the head. Ahmed was also employed as a fireman.

The two Haroun cousins were regarded as so-called moderate Salafists. Salafists believe in a literal interpretation of Islam, including holy war against non-Muslims.

Al-Qaeda and Widows, what to do, what to do?

widows

When you have a few extra widows laying around you have to do something with them. Well Al-Qaeda has come up with a plan. Here is the head line from Adnkronos International.

Iraq: Al-Qaeda 'enlisting widows as suicide bombers'

Now considering the steady stream of husbands sacrificing themselves for the prophet Mohammed, there should be a nearly unending supply of these unfortunate women to blow themselves up. As for we Christians, we heed Gods word on this one.

Psa 68:5            A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, [Is] God in His holy habitation.

I see nothing about martyring themselves for the cause of Jihad in this verse, or any other.  And since God Himself is protecting them we best not help them commit a murder suicide.

Muslim Terrorist In China. Home Grown Ones To Boot.

The tile of the article from ABC news in Australia is "Would-be plane attackers 'not from China"

But the woman who did this was from Xinjiang in northwest China. She is part of a group called Uighur Muslim separatists. These are terrorist in China's own back yard. Here is the story.

Chinese security sources say militant Muslims who tried to attack a Chinese passenger plane earlier this month were from overseas.

Separatists who tried to bring down a commercial passenger flight bound for Beijing are Pakistani passport holders, according to a report from Reuters.

The news wire, quoting Chinese sources, says they may not be Pakistani nationals because the passports could be forged.

On March 7, an aeroplane from the Western province of Xinjiang landed in early Gansu, after flight crew discovered a woman with inflammable liquid in the toilets.

It is being reported that she may have been born in Xinjiang but then spent many years in Pakistan.

The Chinese Government claims to have already spoiled several attempts by armed Xinjiang separatists to attack the Olympic Games.

Someone Who Gets It. "Italy: Muslims in Europe 'menace to peace', says ambassador"

ben_hur--200x150

Someone in Italy gets it. To bad he’s not Italian. The Israelis Ambassador to the Vatican sends a clarion call to University Students in Italy.

Israeli ambassador to the Vatican Oded Ben-Hur spoke to students at the American University of Rome about the media's coverage of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and Muslims in Europe.

Italy: Muslims in Europe 'menace to peace', says ambassador

Israeli ambassador to the Vatican Oded Ben-Hur spoke to students at the American University of Rome about the media's coverage of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and Muslims in Europe.

Rome, 20 March(AKI) - Muslim immigrants are a serious threat to peace and democracy in Europe, according to the Israeli Ambassador to the Vatican Oded Ben-Hur.

"[Muslims] have a different agenda, and are beginning to be a real serious menace to democracy and peace in Europe," he said during a speech at the American University of Rome.

Ben-Hur also criticised what he called the Italians' "docile, ostrich-like approach" to Muslims in Italy.

"People here in Italy should have raised hell," he said.

Ben-Hur spoke at length about extremist Islam and what he saw as a "sharp decline in their [Islamic] culture," following the expulsion of Muslims from European lands in the 15th century during the Spanish 'reconquista'.

He referred to leaflets that he claims to have in the Israeli embassy, that are linked to a programme by Osama bin Laden "to re-conquer Europe."

"They (Muslims) are witnessing what they define as the death of their culture, so they have introduced the culture of death," he told students.

"This is why those guys with explosive belts kill Israelis and Jews, for the sake of killing Jews and killing Israelis."

Referring to media coverage, he said important material was missing from news reports.

"But [people] don't see the incitement by the imam, they don't see the incitement in the mosques."

Ben-Hur said Israel still treated the wounded from Gaza in Israeli hospitals and that Hamas sent badly injured people to die in Israel.

"Hamas, who is in charge in the Gaza Strip, they send people that they cannot handle in their hospitals," he said.

"Sometimes they send them to die in Israel to give us a bad image, we manage to save most of them, but nobody would write about it, nobody would be interested, this is not news!"

"Because of the fear of terrorism, we are losing, day in and day out, the war of image."

"The problem is information wise, propaganda wise, we dont have huge numbers of casualties. That (show) we are suffering. These are not sexy figures," said the ambassador.

The senior diplomat was pessimistic about the prospect of peace between Israel and the Palestinians and said there was no "partner" with which to build an accord.

"As time goes by, if these [Palestinians] are the people we are going to live with, do we trust them?" he asked. "Aren't we risking the future of our nation? We need pressure, a unified pressure."

With regard to Iran, he said that the country's hardline president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was a very unpredictable person and Iran's Shiite revolution should frighten people around the world.

Regarding Iran's nuclear programme, he did not believe a nuclear attack on Israel would take place.

"Ahmadinejad is building his atomic capacity not to destroy Israel," said the ambassador.

Instead, Ben-Hur focused the debate on Iran's alleged nuclear missiles and its range, which he said could reach Europe.
