A MAN almost died when he stopped for a roadside toilet break and was bitten by a deadly snake - on the end of his manhood.

The poisonous brown snake darted between his legs and dived at his manhood as he crouched on the roadside near Cairns, Australia, before fleeing.

Emergency workers rushed to the scene and wrapped the man's member in plastic in case it was infected with poison.

Shock

But the tourist - suffering from a wound, vomiting and stomach pain - was given the all clear after tests.

An ambulance spokesman, who described the victim as "lucky," said: "It certainly had a swipe at him.

"But it didn’t envenomate him. As it came through it must have got a bit of a shock.

"I think he was a bit shocked and embarrassed."

Dr. Dobson Sounds the Alarm on ‘Restroom’ Legislation

Dr. James Dobson began the Focus on the Family radio broadcast today with a warning that hoped the nation would hear.

"The state Legislature here in Colorado has frankly become just about as radical and extreme as the California Legislature,” Dr. Dobson said, “in an effort that was designed to obviously appease the homosexual community [and] give access to all public restrooms by people of the opposite gender."

The governor’s staff “tells us that he will probably sign it," Dr. Dobson said.

Tom Minnery, senior vice president of government and public policy for Focus on the Family Action, joined Dr. Dobson in the studio. During the broadcast, Dr. Dobson read from an editorial Minnery wrote for The Denver Post on Saturday.

"Restrooms are not the only problem," Minnery wrote. "The bill adds a prohibition against discrimination in sexual orientation to more than 23 separate provisions of Colorado law that already prohibit discrimination in various areas of public life. Some of them threaten the religious liberties of every Christian, Jewish or Muslim business owner, who operates a business on faith-based principles.

"A refusal to do business with someone based on a sincerely held religious belief that homosexuality is wrong would violate the law."

Dr. Dobson also welcomed to the studio Colorado Rep. Amy Stephens and the president of Colorado Family Institute, Jim Pfaff.

"If you live in Colorado, call the governor’s office right now," Pfaff told listeners. "And tell his staff member to convey to the governor, to tell him to veto SB 200. This is the most effective way that we’re going to have to stop this horrible legislation. And if you live anywhere in the country, please e-mail the governor’s office."

With the failure of peace plans and political processes, two Israeli entrepreneurs have come up with a novel way to unite Arabs and Jews – an amateur Internet porn site – according to a recent press report.

The website, called Parpar 1, features only Israeli-born Arabs and Jews engaging in amateur porn, Jewish daily Forward reported earlier this month.

The site -- set up in 2000 by two Israeli IT engineers -- features such movies as Sex in the Army, The Rabbi’s Daughter, Kosher Lesbians, and Israeli Breakfast.

Despite an introductory video that proclaims “Make Love, Not War,” co-owner Avi Levy says his porn site is purely a commercial endeavor.

“I’m not a politician. I’m here to make money,” Levy, 42, said.

Membership to the site costs roughly 10 dollars for three days, 15 dollars for one week and 25 dollars for 30 days. Charges appear on billing statements as “fuel supplies”.

Levy's partner, a Web developer named Shay Malol, says the site has around 20,000 surfers per day, reaching up to 50,000 on weekends.

Parpar is Hebrew for “butterfly,” but when used as a verb, it means “to sleep around,” according to Forward.

An expert on Israeli-Palestinian affairs, Dr. Samir Qadih, told AlArabiya.net that such porn sites are usually based in areas inside Israel with large Arab populations, such as Haifa, Jaffa, and Nazareth.

"Arabs inside Israel have adapted to the Israeli way of life and no longer adhere to Arab traditions," he said.

Qadih refuted the idea that these movies foster understanding between Arabs and Israelis. He said most porn sites are supervised by the Mossad, adding that was the reason why Hamas has blocked this and other similar sites.

MK Arieh Eldad, a member of the right-wing National Union-National Religious Party, stated Monday that according to one definition of the state's Penal Code, anyone who acts to “remove lands from the State's territories and from its control will be sentenced to death”. His statement conspicuously omitted the fact that the Golan Heights was a part of the sovereign state of Syria until Israel invaded and seized the territory in 1967 to make it part of Israel.

And Eldad left out nothing. Israel got attacked. They took the Golan Heights and hold it to protect themselves. Ask yourself this. Would Israel be holding the Golan Heights had they not been attacked? Once taking the Golan Heights it only makes sense to stay in order to deny their enemy the high ground. This is just common sense. If there were true peace in the region Syria could have it back. Until Syria can guarantee the Golan Heights won't be used as a launching point for attacks on Israel, Israel needs to keep control of that area. So anyone who would give that kind of military advantage to ones enemy is committing treason and should be executed.

The statement came during a special meeting of lobbyists on the Golan Heights issue.

Eldad's statement was reiterated by MK Effie Eitam, who is a resident of the Israeli settlement of Moshav Nov in the Golan. Eitam added that "we must make it clear that we are talking about death by a court of law”, according to Israeli sources.

MK Eldad sent a letter to Israel's Attorney General on Monday night after the meeting demanding an inquiry into the Prime Minister's negotiations with Syria on the question of the Golan Heights, and stating that the Prime Minister should be tried for treason if he has engaged in any diplomacy with Syria on the issue. In his letter, Eldad stated, "The Golan Heights Law from 1981 applies the Israeli law on the Golan Heights as it is a sovereign part of the State of Israel. The Israeli Penal Code from 1977 defines in clause 97B the term 'treason': A person who caused a territory to be removed from the State's sovereignty or enter the sovereignty of a foreign country, an act which could lead to a death sentence or life imprisonment."

Former Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was also in attendance at Monday's meeting, and he stated, "the late Rabin said in 1992 that whoever withdraws from the Golan Heights would be endangering Israel's security. This statement was true then, it is true today, and it will be true tomorrow as well."

The remarks drew criticism from more moderate Knesset members. MK Shlomo Molla (Kadima) stated, "the leaders of the extreme Right have learned nothing from the Rabin murder. [Eldad] must immediately take back what he said."
