Finally Someone Said It.

Obama and Rick Warren

I had the same problem with Mr. Warren since he went to Syria and said it's a moderate country. The man is becoming to big for his britches, and he does not seem to get you don't negotiate with evil, you oppose it. That for Mr Warren should be by spreading the Gospel, not by legitimizing Terrorist regimes. And as it concerns Obama and the Democrats we should be opposing them as well. They stand for everything we are against.

Is Rick Warren ignoring sin in search for 'peace'?

Christian broadcaster and author Tom McMahon says evangelical pastor Rick Warren's belief that the church must take the lead in solving the world's problems of poverty, disease, and war cannot be reconciled with the scriptures.

Pastor Warren will be hosting an interfaith meeting next month with 30 Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders "to discuss cooperation for the common good of all Americans." Warren's P.E.A.C.E. plan mobilizes churches to address global problems. But McMahon, president of The Berean Call ministry, says the popular Christian author is introducing evangelical Christianity to the social gospel that he learned from his mentor, social scientist Peter Drucker.T.A. McMahon

"As a Christian, as a biblical Christian, I have real concerns about this because I don't find this in the scriptures," McMahon explains. "You see, it's true the world has all kinds of problems, but he's working on the symptoms and avoiding the root cause, which is the sin nature of humanity. So how can you work with all kinds of people [who are] called 'people of faith,' but it's not biblical faith?"

McMahon contends that only the biblical gospel can change the heart of man, and that Warren is compromising that by working with people who reject the gospel of Christ. He says that although Pastor Warren claims his life's calling is "to proclaim the gospel truth of salvation in Jesus Christ," it is doubtful that gospel will be proclaimed at the interfaith meeting.

"I believe that Rick has a low view of prophecy," McMahon contends. "Well, I think he needs to heed the words of Jesus [in Luke 18:8]: 'When the Son of Man cometh shall He find faith upon the earth?'  Well, 'people of faith' yes, but certainly not the faith that Jude exhorts true believers to contend for."

The Pervayours Of Perversion Are At It Again.

Nothing like a fair minded debate of the issues. Oh I forgot we are talking about California.

Attorney: Prop. 8 'rework' could spell defeat

Here is the Key paragraph.

The ballot title originally approved for Proposition 8 described the proposal as an amendment "to provide that only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."  But after homosexual activists failed to get the initiative removed from the ballot, Secretary of State Debra Bowen changed the title to describe the proposal as amending the state constitution to "eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry."  The description also claims, with no supporting evidence, that the state will lose "several tens of millions of dollars" if the measure is passed.

Sounds fair. NOT! Read the rest.

How Bad Is Your Career Going If You Have To Resort To This.

Chris de Burgh to play in Iran

Singer Chris de Burgh is to play a concert in Tehran in November, the first show of its type in nearly 30 years, an Iranian satellite news channel reported on its website.

De Burgh, who has a large following in Iran, first visited the country in May and said that he hoped the authorities would let him play. He will be performing with the Iranian band Arian.

Majid Roqani, the head of public relations at Taraneh Sharqi Cultural and Artistic Company, talked to Press TV, Iran's state-owned, English-language satellite channel about the concert.

He said: "The concert is scheduled to be held in the last week of November at Azadi Indoor Stadium in Tehran which seats 12,000 people.

The Irish singer composed a special song for Iran. The melody enjoys an Iranian composition and its premiere will be held in Tehran."

This concert will be the first time since the 1979 revolution that a Western singer will play alongside an Iranian pop band in the country.

A Special song? Would some of the lyrics include, "Death to America", "Kill all the Gays", and "Who said you could take your Burka off,"? Nice to be a tool for the terrorists.

Ok, If Evolution Is A Fact Why Do We Still See Things Like This.

Because it is, and always will be, a lie. I should not have to keep guessing on how it started. That's not how facts work, just theory's. Even poorly constructed ones like Evolution. Six days baby. Learn it, live it, love it.

Diamonds May Have Jump-Started Life on Earth

one of the greatest mysteries in science is how life began. Now one group of researchers says diamonds may have been life's best friend.

Scientists have long theorized that life on Earth got going in a primordial soup of precursor chemicals. But nobody knows how these simple amino acids, known to be the building blocks of life, were assembled into complex polymers needed as a platform for genesis.

Diamonds are crystallized forms of carbon that predate the oldest known life on the planet. In lab experiments aimed to confirm work done more than three decades ago, researchers found that when treated with hydrogen, natural diamonds formed crystalline layers of water on the surface.

Water is essential for life as we know it. Also, the tests found electrical conductivity that could have been key to forcing chemical reactions needed to generate the first birth.

When primitive molecules landed on the surface of these hydrogenated diamonds in the atmosphere of early Earth, a few billion years ago, the resulting reaction may have been sufficient enough to generate more complex organic molecules that eventually gave rise to life, the researchers say.

The research, by German scientists Andrei Sommer, Dan Zhu, and Hans-Joerg Fecht at the University of Ulm, is detailed in the Aug. 6 issue of the American Chemical Society's journal Crystal Growth & Design. Funding was provided by the Landesstiftung Baden-Wurttemberg Bionics Network.

Another theory, called panspermia, holds that life on Earth arrived from space, as organisms rained down inside tiny meteors or giant comets.

The new research does not conclusively determine how life began, but it lends support to one possible way.

"Hydrogenated diamond advances to the best of all possible origin-of-life platforms," the researchers contend.

Attention Whores Sail To Gaza.

cast-of-gilligans-island

Ok not these guys. But, it might as well be for all the good it will do. Although, If the people in Gaze want to be free they could ask for a bigger boat to take them to a place they like better.

European ship to sail to Gaza to 'break siege'
The ship, organized by the Free Gaza Movement and the International Solidarity Movement, includes activists from several countries as well as journalists.

A group of left-wing activists from Europe plans to set sail for Gaza from Cyprus on August 5 under the slogan "breaking the siege."

The activists will reportedly include three members of the European Parliament.

The ship is being organized by the Free Gaza Movement and the International Solidarity Movement. Many of the latter's members have been barred from entering Israel on security grounds.

Haaretz newspaper said that the organizers have reportedly raised almost $300,000 to finance the operation and recruited 60 people to sail on the ship. These include activists from several countries as well as journalists.

According to the Free Gaza Movement's Web site, the activists will include a Holocaust survivor, a survivor of the Palestinian Nakba, as Palestinians call Israel's creation in 1948, and other members of the Palestinian diaspora, in addition to the European parliamentarians.

According to the Web site, the plan is for the boat to enter Gaza's territorial waters - and, more specifically, the "special security zone" that the Israel Navy has declared off-limits to all boats. The organizers thereby hope to provoke a clash with the navy that will end with them being forcibly arrested. An Israeli government source said that Israel still has little information about the plan, and it is not clear whether it will ever come off. A year ago, he noted, Israel received reports of a similar plan, but due to logistical difficulties, that initiative never got off the ground.

According to the information that Free Gaza Movement announced ship departs Alexandria, Ship picks up at Cyprus, Ship enters Gaza waters.

But Israel threatens this movement with any possible clash when the ship vill arrive Gaza waters.

Free Gaza Movement said "We're an international, nonviolent resistance project to challenge Israel's blockade of Gaza and its denial of Palestinian human rights. We intend to enter Gaza from international waters - at the invitation of the Palestinian people, and without seeking Israeli authorization - thereby establishing a route of entry and exit that is under Palestinian control and sovereignty" Paul Larudee.

You Have Got To Be Kidding.

Does it come with a water slide and bounce room. I think their idea, although well intentioned, is full of hot air.

blowup-church

The world's first inflatable church opened its Gothic arches to worshippers today to reveal a blow-up organ, a polyvinyl pulpit, an air-filled altar and fake stained glass windows.

The church is the brainchild of British entrepreneur Michael Gill, who says it could breathe new life into Christianity by letting preachers take their message into their communities.

A priest could carry it around on the back of truck and set it up on patches of grass or in village squares for impromptu services, he says.

"Churches used to be at the centre of our communities and sadly that's not the case anymore," Gill said as he stood in front of the church during its public unveiling at a Christian exhibition in Esher, just outside London.

"This is one way to reverse that trend, make the church more accessible and put it back where it belongs."

At STG22,000 ($A54,835), the 14-metre high church will be too costly for many parishes.

But Gill says he has had expressions of interest from over 20 countries thanks to his website www.inflatablechurch.com and has even been asked to design inflatable mosques and synagogues.

The Deception Of Moderate Islam.

The Truth About "A Common Word..." and "A Christian Response..."

21st century Christendom has received the historic equivalent of the same "Common Word" invitation and call that has echoed down through the ages from Muhammad's time until today-but it is instead being hailed by elements within Christianity as a benevolent "invitation" to dialogue and fellowship based on the common ground of "love of God and love of neighbour". In stark contrast to this wishful thinking, history tells a different story. All "Common Word" letters coming from Islamic authorities, such as one of the first sent during Muhammad's lifetime to the Emperor in Byzantium in the 630 A.D., are based on Sura 3:64 which defines the only kind of common word or common terms possible in seeking peace with Islam, so that the wordings have been essentially the same-starting soft, but ending always with the "either-or" of the spectre of the sword. That spectre appears to be missing in the current exchange of letters and follow-up dialogues between 138 Muslim clerics and 300 Christian leaders. But, is it? (more)

Feminists Discriminate Against Women.

As Long As They Are Unborn.

Feminists ignore baby girls killed by sex-selective abortions, pro-life leader says

.- Steven Mosher, president of the Population Research Institute (PRI), has charged that American feminists are refusing to address the problem of sex-selective abortions, a phenomenon in which unborn children of an unwanted sex are aborted. Mosher claims that over 100 million girls are missing, primarily due to parents who use ultrasound examinations to choose whether or not to abort the unborn child.

Speaking in PRI’s latest YouTube video, Mosher says the disparity is particularly noticeable in East and South Asia, but also in American groups of Asian descent.

In China, India, and other Asian countries, there is a strong preference for boys,” Mosher says.  “This combination of a preference for boys and modern technology—the ultrasound machine—has proven deadly for millions upon millions of baby girls.”

The PRI video cites a recent study published by the National Academy of Sciences.

“Where are the feminists when you need them?” Mosher asks, alleging that American feminists’ dedication to permissive abortion laws makes them unwilling to oppose sex-selective abortion.

“I challenge the National Organization of Women,” says Mosher, “and other feminist groups, to join us in the battle to ban this terrible form of sex discrimination that is killing so many unborn baby girls.  Their continued silence only facilitates the killing.”
